    A beautifully weathered statue of Persephone, daughter of Zeus and Demeter with a naturally dark patina. Abducted into the under word in Greek mythology, Persephone came to symbolise plants that emerge again in Spring and return to the earth again after the harvest. A finely detailed and classical handmade statue.
