Make It Personal

Our talented on site engraver Nigel Hartfield has kindly shared some of his work for the blog.  Imaginative and highly skilled there are so many ways to make your cast stonework as individual as you want it to be.

Here are some of our favourites.

House Names and Statement Entrances

House names are really popular and can add that wow factor to entrances, from  a cosy cottage

to impressive gate posts.

To columns the school children made in our workshop for their school entrance, which Nigel engraved for Langton Green Primary School with their colourful school logo.  Engraving doesn’t have to be stone coloured

Coloured Engraving and Gold Leaf

We are lucky to be a able to engrave as so many products in imaginative ways.  Here some simple Chilstone cast stone tiles were transformed into a durable and fun hopscotch for a local playground.

A mixture of engraving and gold leaf were used in the Laskett Gardens for the garden temple to commemorate Sir Roy Strong’s time as a curator for the V&A museum.

To gilded antlers for extra special pieces.

All shapes and Styles

Don’t be restrained, you can make your text wavy, flowing with your words

Or change the format.

You can just use pictures of significance for you.

From Pieces Large and Small

With important dates to remember on sundials for back gardens,

to birthday commemorations in a big way!

One we are really proud of! The large engraving for the stone temple folly we supplied for the Meningitis Now Artisan Garden that won the People’s Choice Awar at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2016..

Never to be Forgotten

We can also craft memories for weddings,

and to remember forever those we love.

Please speak to our staff who are always happy to advise to help you make your garden ornaments and home as personal as you would like. Your imagination and our fine crafted cast stone can make the perfect piece.
