[caption id="attachment_1073" align="aligncenter" width="507"] Clive has a different kind of tablet in mind[/caption] In this computer age you would be forgiven for thinking that we must carve our stone with some kind of Japanese laser drill gun but not a bit of it! Our trusty carver is called Clive and each carved name plate is a unique work of art in a tradition stretching back to our colleagues who worked on the pyramids of Egypt. Computers are of course brilliant but they do make everything look the same - there is no soul! But if you have an artist carving your name, there are tiny imperceptible peculiarities that result in a very pleasing result. Rather like the hand drawn playbills of the past. All of our stone is hand made - its just our way. [caption id="attachment_1074" align="aligncenter" width="555"] Steady![/caption]
