Famous urn nursed back to life!

Here is an update on the story of the Florence Nightingale urn that had fallen into a sorry state of disrepair following over 150 years of weathering and frosts. The current owners of the house once lived in by the great founder of the nursing profession, asked Chilstone to preserve the urn as it was once in a photo with the famous lady (see story below). Here is the urn as it arrived at our Langton Green Workshop. This is the result of a century and a half in the outdoors in all weathers. The urn has been damaged by infilling with cement and has suffered frost damage on the rim. If you have a precious vase or ornament  that needs some TLC, perhaps we can help you to revive it for a new generation to enjoy!
