[caption id="attachment_272" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Mark, left, with general manager Steve Clark"][/caption] Chilstone Production Manager Mark Crampton celebrated 20 years of work at Chilstone with a glass of champagne and a piece of cake , his usual lunch. Mark joined the company in 1989 -that was the year of the Exxon Valdez oil spill- although the events are not connected, when the company was based at Sprivers, a large country house in Kent. At a small ceremony to mark the occasion, Mark was presented with a long service watch and a custom made high visability jacket by the general manager, Steve Clark. Having started as a craftsman, Mark is now head of production at Chilstone and still plays an active role in hand making ornaments at the workshops in Langton Green. Very many of the ornaments that Mark made twenty years ago are still giving pleasure to people all over the world, and that is a pleasant recollection to someone who has devoted much time and dedication to the company. Congratulations and thank you from all at Chilstone!
