[caption id="attachment_957" align="aligncenter" width="444"] Season of mist and mellow fruitfulness[/caption] Our Great Summer of Sport has finally come to an end and Autumn is just around the corner. But we enjoyed the Sport and are determined to enjoy the rest of the year too. Starting with Autumn, Chilstone will continue to stay open at the weekends. It looks as though we might have another Indian Summer and there will still be some balmy evenings to enjoy in the garden. We have just taken delivery of a range of contempory sculptures, these look stunning in the right setting, and visitors to our showgardens can enjoy the gardens and watch the leaves turn every colour of the rainbow in the coming weeks. The gardens are free to visit and there is a fishing lake (permits available) where you can sit and gaze into the distance, and 3 walks through the forest. A special treat in the early dark evenings. Dogs must be kept on a lead. Parking is not a problem and there is no charge.
